PADI Altitude Diver specialty rating

What are the benefits of the PADI Altitude Diver specialty course?

 

Any time you’re diving at 1000 to 10,000 feet above sea level, you're altitude diving. If you want to explore the hidden world of a mountain lake. You’ll learn the effects of pressure at higher altitudes and how to adjust your dive plan accordingly. You’ll learn how plan and make a dive at high altitudes.

COST: $250

PREREQUISITES:  Junior Open Water Diver. Minimum age – 10 yrs old.

MATERIALS: PADI Altitude Diver crew pack (approx. $65).

COURSE DURATION:  2 dives.

CUSTOM SCHEDULES: We reserve this course with a customizable schedule, please let us know your availability.

WE PROVIDE: Instruction with a PADI Professional.

STUDENTS PROVIDE: Proof of scuba certification, Logbook, RDP (table or electronic) OR dive computer, BCD, Regulator, Wetsuit, Mask/Snorkel/Fins, tanks and weights.

Release Forms required: Liability Release and Assumption of Risk, Medical Statement, Standard Safe Diving Practices. (please see our "Links" page to download these and have them completed before training begins) Note: If you have a YES to one of the medical questions, you will need to get a doctor’s approval before participating in this program.
